There Is Misconception that Chewing Tobacco is Safer

by Richard McTowilng
(UK)

Teenage Smoking

I find that in dealing with young people (and some adults) there is always the misconception that chewing tobacco is safer and somehow healthier. I think this is because of the hugely publicized tobacco ingredients and toxins running into their thousands.

Even though this is good am personally worried that it is over-shadowing the real and general effects of all tobacco in general. At the end of the day it doesn't really matter how tobacco is delivered. Which ever way it is, it will still remain harmful. I have a feeling that big tobacco loves this because it takes away attention from harmful tobacco to harmful tobacco smoking (
cigarettes).

At the end of the day it gives them an opportunity to make inroads amongst the youth via smokeless tobacco. The fact here is that once addicted one can't easily get off. Thank you for the pictures i think they clearly communicate the true fact that tobacco is tobacco whether smoking or chewing. It just must be stopped!
